I am a professional trumpet player, pianist, vocalist, and violinist with over ten years of experience teaching and performing on Long Island and in NYC. I have a great deal of experience teaching children ages 4 and up and adults. I have worked with a myriad of genres, including classical, jazz, bluegrass, and rock/pop. I grew up on Long Island and went to Longwood High School where I performed annually at NYSSMA and also had the honor of attending the all-county and all state festivals as a trumpet player. I recently graduated summa cum laude from Hofstra University with a degree in Music Education. There I studied under one of the most well-known baroque trumpet players in the world, Kris Ingles. In addition I was involved in a number of ensembles including Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Big Band, Pep Band, Pit Band, Opera Pit Band, Chorale, and Chamber Singers. Working under great and well known directors has profoundly changed my playing and teaching style and made me a very versatile musician and teacher. Currently I only perform at weddings and other similar celebrations but am looking for other ensembles to join. I have boundless enthusiasm and passion for all the instruments I teach and am always personally invested in my students’ progress.
