Margaret L. studied the Suzuki Method with renowned Violin pedagogue, Nicole DiCecco when she was 5 years old until she was 15. She continued her Violin as well as Viola studies (she is equally versed at Violin as she is at Viola) with Dwight Dyer and Anna Kheyfets, Violinist in the St. Petersburg Ballet Orchestra and professor at St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov College of Music. She has been Concertmaster of Long Island String Festival and Principal Violin at The Children’s Orchestra Society’s Symphony Orchestra. She has taught privately for 10 years, preparing students for NYSSMA solo evaluations and All-County and Long Island String Festival. She maintained a violin studio while studying Political Science at University of Delaware. She currently teaches privately and performs regularly in the NY Metro area.
