Linda J. is a graduate of Music and Art High School (voice major), Turtle Bay Music School (degree in Music Therapy) and Queens College (B.A. in Sociology). She has also attended Juilliard Pre-College (Honorary Scholarship) and Manhattan School of Music. N.Y.S. Licensed and Board Certified Music Therapist, Certified provider of The Listening Program from Advanced Brain Technologies, internship supervisor for Molloy College Music Therapy students at the Grandell Nursing Home and is a member of the American Association of Music Therapists. Linda J. began taking voice lessons at the age of10, and performed at nursing homes throughout Nassau, Suffolk and the five Boroughs and was the soloist at weddings at the Huntington Town House. She also had the lead in Man of La Mancha and performed in South Pacific and Guys and Dolls in community theatre and presently performs with a musical group based in Suffolk County.Previously, Linda has taught at the School of Music Artists in Cedarhurst, N.Y. for children and adults as well as organizing and directing variety shows for senior citizens. She has prior experience working with special needs, geriatrics and the mentally ill population.Linda has a warm, caring and friendly demeanor and always brings enlightenment and creativity to all she works with.
