Ethan Helm is a woodwind performer, composer, and teacher based in New York City. Originally from Yorba Linda, California, he holds a BM in jazz saxophone from Eastman School of Music and is pursuing a masters degree at NYU. Ethan was a teacher’s assistant at Birch Creek Music Performance Center in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, during the summers of 2010, 2011, and 2012 and has been teaching privately since high school. He performs with Cecilia Coleman, Ryan Truesdell, and Colin Huggins, as well as ensembles he co-leads: MEND, Dugtrio, and Ethan Helm Quartet.
