Growing up in a musical family, Bobby developed a strong commitment, love, and devotion to the guitar. Some of his inspirations include Miles Davis, Django, Charlie Parker, George Benson, Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, and Pat Martino.
The perpetual student, Bobby started to learn at age 12 at his grandfather’s school; S. Music Studio and began teaching at age 14. He continues to study with various teachers, believing that there should never be an end to enriching musical experiences.
Bobby’s unique guitar style was formed through constant gigging, late night jam sessions, transcribing along with vigorous playing and practice. A working man’s jazz guitar player, he can be heard regularly in solo, duo, or full band contexts throughout the New York area.
