Ms. Dzerbina is an extraordinary violinist. Born in Minsk, Belarus she started to play the violin at the age of 6. Following her career, Ms. Dzerbina moved to the United States where she was awarded a full scholarship and received her Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Violin Performance from Michigan State University.
Ms. Dzerbina is frequently performing solo and chamber recitals both in the United States and Europe. Her chamber music achievements include winning thefirst prize at Belarusian State Chamber Competition, and performing a lot ofchamber repertoire with her colleagues as well as with world renowned musicians. In 2010 she was invited to perform as a soloist with an orchestra at the prestigious music festival Collegium Musicum (Pommersfelden, Germany).
For many years she was working as an orchestra musician, both in Europe and inthe United States. As an orchestra member Alyona performed together with well-known musicians such as Vadim Repin, Dora Schwarzberg, Leonard Slatkin, and Wynton Marsalis. Alyona’s orchestral experience includes playing as a sectional violin player and as a concertmaster.
